SET YOURSELF THREE DAILY GOALS FOR JANUARY
January is the time when many of us start to think about where we are with our lives and how we can improve.
In December 2020 I made the biggest and the best decision of my life. After 54 years on the planet, I decided to stop drinking alcohol. Now over three years later I have never felt better.
The 9KM BY 9AM January Challenge 2024 is what I have been doing each month for over three years. It’s very simply setting yourself THREE daily goals. Try it for the whole of January and see what happens. Trust me it will change your life. It worked for me.
By consistently taking small steps you put yourself on a trajectory to achieving major milestones in your life.
The big goal or ‘moon shot’ I set myself three years ago was to be alcohol-free, to be healthy and fit, to be caring, to be present, to be happy.
Once I had this ‘moon shot’ as my target I came back down to earth and concentrated on my three daily goals.
So, this is all you have to do…in my first year of going alcohol-free these were my daily goals.
Daily Goal 1 – Every day, do not drink alcohol
Daily Goal 2 – Every day, go for a walk (or do some exercise) – try and push yourself to go further than you would normally go
Daily Goal 3 – Every day, meditate for 15 minutes. By learning to control and manage your thoughts you put yourself in the best place to change your beliefs
