If the rider wants to cross a river, but the elephant believes there are crocodiles in the water, it won’t budge. Fear stops them. To move forward, you need to communicate directly with the elephant—change its belief about the crocodiles—and only then will it cross.

Hypnosis is a natural and familiar state of mind, similar to daydreaming. You’ve likely experienced it before without even realizing it—perhaps while driving a car, watching TV, or losing yourself in a good book. It’s a state of relaxed focus where your mind feels calm, yet alert.
In this state, we can quiet the conscious mind—your inner critical voice that often gets in the way of change. This allows direct communication with your subconscious mind, the part of you that stores habits, beliefs, and emotions. When we access this deeper level of awareness, we can make meaningful and lasting changes.
It’s important to know that hypnosis is not sleep. Although the word “hypnosis” comes from the Greek word for sleep, it’s quite different. During hypnosis, you remain fully aware and in control. Think of it as a collaborative process where I guide you into a relaxed state, but the power to enter and work within this state is entirely yours.
Hypnosis works on different “levels,” much like a building. For simple mindset shifts, we might only need a light trance. For deeper work, like addressing fears or phobias, we go a little deeper. No matter the level, the process is gentle, safe, and designed to help you create the changes you want.
